About the company Our client is looking for an experienced Data and AI Analytics Lead to drive the adoption and execution of advanced analytics and AI initiatives across the bank. The role will lead a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop data-driven models, deliver actionable insights, and implement machine learning solutions that enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen customer engagement. About the role Reporting to the department head, you will lead the design and development of AI, machine learning, and data analytics strategies aligned with the bank's digital transformation goals. Oversee the full lifecycle of data-driven projects from problem definition, data acquisition, and model design to deployment and performance monitoring. You will help build predictive and prescriptive models to support all the business units and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases, demonstrate business value, and integrate models into existing banking systems. Mentor and guide a growing analytics team, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning. Lastly, work closely with IT, digital, and compliance teams to ensure scalable and secure AI implementation within the bank's ecosystem Key Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a major benefits 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or machine learning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production within financial or banking environments Strong expertise in data modelling, data visualization, and statistical analysis Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and data modeling methodology Solid understanding of cloud platforms will also be a plus Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate data insight into business value Sound understanding of data governance, model risk management, and regulatory requirements pertinent to banking analytics Good command in Chinese Click "Apply Now" to apply for this position or call Karen Cheng at +852 3180 4921 for a confidential discussion.
