Your new company We are currently seeking a talented System Analyst - Application System Engineer for one of our most sizeable financial services. Your new role Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse requirements and enhance existing application systems to align with evolving business objectives. Deliver comprehensive technical and application support, including system administration and performance optimisation for the investment management platform. Oversee and maintain testing environments to facilitate smooth user acceptance testing (UAT). Coordinate with external solution vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents effectively. Support the change management process for application systems, ensuring proper documentation and governance. Contribute to system implementation projects, including procurement and setup of hardware, software, and associated services. Promote a culture of innovation by encouraging creative thinking and continuous improvement across teams What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT or application support. Experience in supporting treasury or banking systems is MUST. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate and manage stakeholders. Proficiency in low-code platforms, Java, SQL, Python, UNIX/Linux shell scripting, and familiarity with DevOps and automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible is highly desirable. Experience in database administration, Oracle database or SQL will be highly preferred.
