Job Title: Legal Counsel (AVP- PRC or HK Qualified) Financial Services/ Securities firm experience preferred. Description: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and customer agreements. Ensure all contracts align with the company's legal and business interests. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in the securities industry. Advise and work with colleagues in all departments on potential legal risks and regulatory changes that may impact the business. Oversee corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Work closely with external legal counsel as needed. Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company's operations. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal support for product development, marketing, and other business initiatives. Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on business initiatives, corporate legal strategies, and other legal matters. Qualifications: Qualified lawyer with 3 PQE either PRC or HK a must, in-house experience is preferred for this role. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in the HK Mainland China or APAC securities industry. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with cross-border transactions and international legal issues.
