HR Generalist - Payroll & HR Operations Location: Hong Kong Industry: Foreign Corporate Bank About the Role: We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a leading foreign corporate bank in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and has strong expertise in payroll administration and HR operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Hong Kong employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Oversee HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HRIS data integrity. Support benefits administration, leave management, and statutory filings. Act as the first point of contact for employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies. Collaborate with regional HR teams and external vendors to ensure smooth service delivery. Assist in HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, with strong focus on payroll and operations in a banking or financial services environment preferred. Solid knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinances and payroll regulations. Proficiency in HRIS and MS Excel; experience with Workday or similar systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
