Fiduciary Specialist Job Description

The Fiduciary Specialist is a strategic professional who plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our fiduciary services. This position requires a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and a strong ability to communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the trustee relationship with a specific set of Hong Kong managed fund clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Assist in the preparation, receipt, safekeeping, and maintenance of legal and contractual client documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Fiduciary Operations function to resolve query escalations related to NAV reviews, periodic reviews, daily banking, and other matters.
  • Provide training to the Fiduciary Operations function as needed to ensure seamless execution of fiduciary services.
  • Monitor and report on the execution of investment and borrowing monitoring checks for designated funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with clients to resolve breaches and price errors, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Manage the flow of data received from internal support teams to ensure timely and accurate information is provided to clients and their associated service providers.
  • Ensure agreed service level commitments are monitored and tracked, and any issues identified are escalated to the relevant parties and followed through to resolution.
  • Participate in onsite inspection visits of fund functionaries, assisting in the planning and execution of these visits.
  • Assist in the preparation of draft and/or final reports detailing issues that have arisen from onsite inspection visits.
  • Engage in projects and additional tasks as required by the Senior Fiduciary Client Manager.
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of experience in fiduciary or compliance-related roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, with a Master's degree preferred.
