Main Responsibilities:

  • Guidance and Counselling:
    • Deliver one-to-one and group guidance sessions to support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
    • Assist students in exploring their interests and passions, and help them develop effective study habits and time management skills.
  • Learning Support:
    • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to identify and support students with learning needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized plans to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Community Involvement:
    • Organize events and activities to foster a sense of community and inclusivity within the school.
    • Engage with parents and external partners to promote student wellbeing and academic success.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as counselling or education.
  • At least 3 years' experience working as a guidance counsellor in an IB school setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in guiding students through university and career choices, including knowledge of global university systems.
