About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team in Juniper Support. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather requirements and analyze business needs
  • Design and develop software applications using a range of technologies, including APIs, databases, and SQL
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including requirement gathering, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance
  • Conduct in-depth requirement analysis, define business specifications, compile test cases, and support business testing
  • Assist the Agile product owner in maintaining the product backlog in JIRA and help monitor progress via daily scrum meetings
  • Propose, review, and ensure business requirements align with global standards

Requirements

  • University-level degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field
  • Solid Business Analyst experience with proven track records in Payment Systems, Cash Management products, and/or Merchant collection services
  • Solid experience on project execution in Agile, with user stories write-up in JIRA and documentation in Confluence
  • Solid technical experience in API, databases/SQL
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate and drive discussion across business functions and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge and experience of DevOps and Agile discipline and the ability to put the discipline into practice
  • Excellent problem-solving and user support skills
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery
  • Maintain a can-do attitude and stay positive towards challenges
  • Being open, dependable, connected, and align with HSBC values
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to adapt to a global team culture and communicate in different locations
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
  • Good command of spoken Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to foster partnership among project participants and collaborate with them to ensure successful project delivery
