As a Controls Engineer at TAIT, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge control systems for live events and entertainment projects.

Key responsibilities include liaising directly with customers and clients to ensure excellent customer satisfaction, performing system upgrades, retrofits, and modifications based on customer needs and industry requirements, installing, configuring, and commissioning control systems, PLCs, SCADA systems, and automation equipment at customer sites, providing troubleshooting and diagnostic services for control systems, conducting preventative maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance, diagnosing and repairing faults within electrical control panels, PLC systems, and other automation hardware/software, replacing or upgrading control system components as needed, preparing equipment for site, conducting system inspections/maintenance and testing plus basic mechanical maintenance, commissioning control systems, configuring and calibrating control systems for optimal performance in diverse operating conditions, managing certain project tasks, communicating frequently with the rest of the project team about tasks and risks, staying well organized and paying close attention to details, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, attending meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required, and performing assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company.
