International Student Engagement Manager

Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Office, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the recruitment efforts for international students through outreach initiatives and digital marketing strategies;
- Crafting comprehensive communication strategies and executing related projects;
- Actively engaging with international students, providing essential non-academic guidance and support services;
- Organizing and facilitating activities aimed at enhancing campus internationalization and student integration;
- Managing funding programs that enable students to acquire global experiences;
- Coordinating and planning visits for delegations;
- Overseeing university responses to address critical incidents involving students;
- Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating creativity; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in English and Chinese, as well as strong presentation abilities; a keen understanding of the needs of international students; and solid logistical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include:
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office applications;
- Familiarity with Adobe software, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro;
- Knowledge of customizable online organizational and development tools, such as Unibuddy and Zoom;
- Understanding of videography and photography equipment and production processes.
Occasional travel may be necessary.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Assistant Manager.
Compensation and Benefits
The remuneration package will be competitive and aligned with qualifications and experience. The appointment will be on a fixed-term contract, with fringe benefits including gratuity, leave, and medical and dental schemes.
