Job Description

As a key member of our Mass Transit Railway team, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising engineering activities to ensure that railway assets are properly maintained in accordance with specified standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and executing engineering projects to maintain railway infrastructure, including structures, buildings, tunnels, slopes, retaining walls, noise barriers, trackside drainage, advertising panels, and associated trackside civil facilities.
  • Conduct structural inspections, investigations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement works in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Update and maintain procedures and work processes to minimize maintenance expenses and enhance safety and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or certificate in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience, with at least 1 year at a supervisory level.
  • Possession of an arborist certification from the International Society of Arboriculture is advantageous for Tree and Landscape teams.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as proficiency in both English and Chinese.
  • Knowledge of structural maintenance in an operating railway environment is desirable.
