Job Description:

Accounting Function Management

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and internal controls.

Financial Statement Analysis

The successful candidate will prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure their accuracy and completeness. This includes supervising, mentoring, and developing the accounting staff, promoting continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Compliance

Candidates with experience working with external auditors will be preferred, as we require collaboration to facilitate the audit process. Ensuring strict compliance with financial regulations and internal controls is also essential.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Understanding of US GAAP and experience with international subsidiaries of US corporations would be beneficial. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is also desirable.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience managing a full set of accounts, proficiency in project-based accounting, and familiarity with IPO processes are highly valued. Additionally, proficiency in accounting software such as Peachtree, payroll systems, and exceptional analytical skills are required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as high integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented approach, are essential for success in this role.
