We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Superintendent, Baggage Handling System Maintenance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the airport's baggage handling system.
Responsibilities:- Provide first-line response service and fault attendance for various airport facilities.
- Control and monitor the performance of the baggage handling system, automated arrival baggage delivery, early baggage storage systems, baggage security screening systems, powered baggage loading devices, RFID system, and other airport facilities.
- Assist in developing and refining the system failure contingency plan and conducting system failure drill exercises.
- Assist line maintenance teams to supervise planned maintenance works during non-office hours.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors to carry out maintenance for various airport facilities.
- Prepare duty logs, incident reports, fault investigations, and analysis of abnormal faults.
- Perform shift duties as required (alternate 2-day day/night shift duties and 2-day off).
Candidates should possess a higher diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, electronic, building services engineering, or other relevant railway disciplines with at least 8 years' relevant working experience in maintenance or installation. Alternatively, degree holders with 4 years' relevant working experience will also be considered.
A valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese is also required, with knowledge of Putonghua being a plus.
This role requires a team player with good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work under pressure.
