Overview of the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Migration Specialist to join our infrastructure operations team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be part of a significant initiative involving the migration of our cloud platform and contribute to its success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Technical Consultant, handling escalations, incidents, outages, and platform-related challenges
  • Maintain and develop the infrastructure of various projects
  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud platform infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability and optimal performance
  • Responsible for project implementation on public cloud, private cloud and VM Ware
  • New device installation, configuration and migration
  • Manage capacity planning and monitoring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in system engineering/Cloud engineer/platform operations
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrate solid expertise in one of the following technologies: AWS Cloud, vSphere or VMware
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
