Fixed Network Architect Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Network Architect Specialist to join our team at China Mobile Hong Kong Co. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting development needs of wired networks from various departments, coordinating with business and technical support departments to formulate long-term planning for fiber and cable construction and coverage.

They will also monitor and assess customer satisfaction with home broadband networks, collaborate with customer service department to collect feedback, identify and resolve issues, ensure high-quality customer service standards, and improve customer satisfaction.

In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring network quality of end-to-end broadband networks, from household side to network side to guarantee internet experience of broadband users.

They will also be in charge of constructing, maintaining, and optimizing several IT platforms for fixed network center, including but not limited to: Fiber optic cable resource management platform, Broadband network full lifecycle management platform, Broadband internet quality monitoring platform.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields, with at least 5 years of experience in fixed network operators or other telecommunications-related industries.
  • Proficient in big data analysis and GIS integration technologies, capable of using these technologies for fiber optic network planning as well as resource management and optimization.
  • Familiar with API integration and docking, achieving interconnectivity and interoperability among systems across multiple domains.
  • Proficient in networking and internet access process of broadband networks, capable of locating and resolving broadband internet access faults.
  • Deep understanding and extensive practical experience in operation and maintenance experience of IP/broadband networks, proficient in TCP/IP, GPON/XGS-PON, routing and switching, and network related knowledge.
  • Familiar with various technical methods to monitor quality of broadband internet access and propose optimization solutions, such as soft probe technology, DPI technology, etc.
  • Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, able to effectively communicate with technical teams, marketing teams, and customer service teams, continuously improve quality of broadband internet access, and able to collaborate and advance projects in cross-departmental environment.
  • Possesses professional knowledge and practical experience in field of network security.
  • Holds network-related certifications such as CCNP, any IT-related or security certificate is preferred.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of HKD 70,000 - HKD 100,000 per month, depending on experience, plus benefits package including discretionary performance bonus, life insurance, medical insurance, meal allowance, education subsidies, birthday gift, marriage leave, birthday leave, and staff discount.
