IT Specialist

Aon is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our team

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT Specialist to join our team in providing technical support and problem resolution for our end-users. As an IT Specialist, you will work proactively and independently in IT infrastructure projects, assist the CTS Lead to lead a team of IT Associates, and work with internal/external IT Subject Matter Experts to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and problem resolution for end-users
• Work on IT infrastructure projects and assist the CTS Lead to lead a team of IT Associates
• Collaborate with internal/external IT Subject Matter Experts to resolve issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT service quality to meet SLAs and achieve high customer satisfaction
• Suggest and organize IT activities/training for end-users
• Additional project work as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/MIS or IT-related field
• 3 years of experience in an IT technical support role, ideally in corporate Telecommunications, Banking, or Insurance environments
• Experience in regional helpdesk support and project management is preferred
• Organizing IT activities and technical training experience is required
• Motivate team members
• Organizational, time-management, and computerized documentation skills
• Demonstrate a passion for excellent customer service, strong probing, problem-solving, active listening skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize work
• Good all-rounded tech skills on desktop support and level-1 server administration, including computer and back-end administration, file server backup, and basic networking knowledge
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
