This People Management Professional role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic organization. As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional people management services that drive business success.
About the Role:
The People Management Professional will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, ensuring alignment with firm policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist line managers in defining role specifications, coordinate recruitment advertising, engage with external agencies, source and shortlist candidates, extend offers, and provide feedback to applicants.
- Graduate and Intern Recruitment: Support and/or lead graduate and intern recruitment, in partnership with the HR Manager and Graduate Recruitment Partners.
- Contractual Documentation: Prepare and issue contractual documentation related to appointments, terminations, and employment variations, arrange pre-employment background checks, and ensure all onboarding administrative requirements are completed.
- HRIS Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the HRIS, now transitioned to Workday, utilizing strong aptitude for systems.
- Induction Training: Deliver induction training for new employees and trainees, scheduling regular follow-up meetings to track and support their personal and professional development goals.
- Policy Updates: Take part in updating employee handbooks/policies/procedures in line with changes advised by the Head of HR, Asia.
- Departure Interviews: Conduct departure interviews to gather data informing future retention strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Talent Management: Act as trusted advisor to Practice Group heads and Business Support Managers, providing strategic advice on talent management, team resourcing, and succession planning.
- Client and International Secondments: Manage administration aspects of client and international secondments, including the trainee program.
About You:
- Qualifications: University degree in Human Resources Management or a business-related discipline.
- Language Skills: Spoken and written English and Chinese is essential (Mandarin is highly desirable).
- Experience: 4 years of experience in HR operations and advisory capacity.
- Skills: Strong affinity with systems and MS products (Excel in particular), attention to details, responsiveness, and ability to work under pressure.
- Team Working: Highly effective team working skills with an ability to collaborate with others and develop strong and effective working relationships.
