Job Description

As a Network Engineer at Classy Wheeler Limited, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale network solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing network implementation and project management tasks;
  • Conducting system integration and application rollout;
  • Collaborating with vendors to implement different solutions;
  • Providing maintenance support for network products;
  • Troubleshooting problems, replacing hardware, and updating software;
  • Offering 1st tier post-sales support and maintenance;
  • Handling escalation procedures for networking products with senior engineers;
  • Interfacing with customers to resolve network issues and respond to inquiries;
  • Participating in global network construction and maintenance projects;
  • Being on standby for emergency calls.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Higher Diploma or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Professional certificate holders are an advantage;
  • A good understanding of network technology;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of large-scale network solutions and layer 2 & 3 technology, including IEEE layer 2 standard, layer 2/3 MPLS, and BGP routing;
  • Hands-on experience in networking, Wi-Fi, and security solution implementation, such as routers, switches, AP controllers, and firewalls;
  • Experience and expertise in high-speed optical transmission and DWDM system design, architecture, and testing are advantages;
  • Proficient programming skills (Python, REST API, Netconf, etc.) are advantages;
  • The ability to work independently, self-motivated, and under pressure, with good customer service skills;
  • Good business sense and a willingness to learn new technologies and solutions;
  • Fresh graduates with a positive working attitude and eagerness to learn are considered;
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are advantages.
