Job Overview

The Hong Kong Sports Institute Ltd is seeking a skilled Sports Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our sports medicine department, you will play a crucial role in providing physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation services for scholarship athletes.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide on-field support to athletes during competitions;
  • Liaise with coaches, sports medicine professionals, and other related personnel on athletes' rehabilitation and injury management;
  • Conduct sports medicine-related research and educational programmes for athletes and coaches;
  • Assist in training and supervising junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy students;
  • Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • A university degree in physiotherapy or a relevant discipline;
  • Registration with the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Board;
  • A minimum of 4 years of physiotherapy or sports relevant working experience;
  • Experience in managing sports injuries;
  • An excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Awareness/knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong.
