Teaching Assistant

The Department of Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the teaching of undergraduate-level courses in areas such as developmental psychology, social psychology, health psychology, biological psychology, personality psychology, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating academic activities, including lesson planning and delivery
  • Facilitate student discussions and provide guidance on coursework
  • Review and provide feedback on student assignments and projects
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • Master's degree or above in psychology
  • Demonstrated ability or experience in supporting the teaching of undergraduate-level courses
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, including the use of SPSS

What We Offer

The appointment will be initially made on a contract basis for a period of one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of academics and contribute to the development of our students.
