The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000-$160,000, depending on location and experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various ventures projects. This includes backend service and operation development, proposing architectural decisions, participating in designs, code review, and implementation of products bridging Crypto.com to developers and end-users.

Your primary focus will be on developing our retail trading products and expanding them to new regions and countries. You will also identify issues and implement solutions for complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure, provide reliable and reactive trading information streams to our customers, and offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues.

You will be the project owner and will have the opportunity to innovate by staying open to new technologies and encouraging experimentation. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infra team to improve the technology stack for long-term engineering initiatives and manage documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong passion for building first-class products that solve real-world problems and experience with various technologies.
  • A self-motivated and fast-learning mentality, as well as the ability to juggle conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with financial domain knowledge and Blockchain technology would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Ruby, with other programming languages experience being an asset.
  • Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, Kafka would be preferred.
  • Experience handling scalability, security, and performance optimization.
