About the Role

The Mass Transit Railway is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its Central Electronic Workshop. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electronic systems.

Your primary responsibility will be to supervise a team of maintenance engineers to implement improvement works and deliver reliable workshop services. You will also carry out asset replacement studies, asset life assurance studies, and holistic reviews of various systems.

In addition, you will implement refurbishment/replacement of exhausted electronic equipment under asset life assurance projects. You will also review and identify areas of improvement in asset management activities, making proposals on the process of asset condition assessments and asset life assurance studies.

Key Tasks:

  1. Supervise a maintenance team to implement improvement works and deliver reliable workshop services.
  2. Carry out asset replacement studies, asset life assurance studies, and holistic reviews of various systems.
  3. Implement refurbishment/replacement of exhausted electronic equipment under asset life assurance projects.
  4. Review and identify areas of improvement in asset management activities.
  5. Provide technical support on maintenance activities of electronic systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience, with 2 years at supervisory level.
  • Self-motivated with good analytical and interpersonal skills.
