Senior Cyber Security Manager

Hang Seng Bank is committed to service excellence and seeks a high-calibre professional to join our department as Senior Cyber Security Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and implement Cybersecurity services and best practices.
- Collaborate with global, regional, and country representatives of Technology to implement team goals within entity policy, expense, and regulatory constraints.
- Embed best practice management and support the implementation of transformational change.
- Implement controls on Cybersecurity risk and ensure compliance with Cybersecurity risk policies within the Bank.
- Provide expert advisory services to IT and business departments on cyber security matters, including risk assessments, incident response planning, and security awareness training.
- Support Cybersecurity in accordance with IT Security Target Operating Model.
- Contribute to the Sub-function/Region Cybersecurity strategy to secure the bank's technology from the inside out, whilst maintaining, protecting, and enhancing HSBC's values, reputation, and stakeholder value.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, conduct investigations, and coordinate timely response and resolution to security breaches.
- Lead and manage security projects, including the implementation of new security technologies, vulnerability management programs, and the enhancement of existing security controls.
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, gaps in security controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats, trends, and technologies, and proactively recommend appropriate mitigation strategies and countermeasures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the design and implementation of new systems, applications, and processes.
- Lead and support peers within the Cybersecurity function to define and implement an industry-leading Cybersecurity Service that supersedes our constantly changing information security threats.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit and external regulators that any organizational changes are fit-for-purpose and meet their expectations.
- Enhance the IT and information security education and awareness programs within the Bank.
- Stay informed about the regulatory landscape in Hong Kong and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (including HKMA, SFC, IT SOX, Strategic Control of Privileged Access Program, and audit requirements).
- Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in cyber security, IT operations, IT Audit, or risk management.
- Understanding of inherent and residual risk management principles, including experience with gap analysis and mitigating control and capabilities design, operation, and effectiveness assurance.
- Hands-on implementation of industry best practices, risk frameworks, or regulatory guidelines such as ISO/IEC 27000-series, FFIEC, NIST 800-53, COBIT, FAIR, etc.
- Knowledge preferred: DevOps, Cybersecurity, Hybrid Cloud, or Machine Learning.
- Hold professional security certifications, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH, etc. is preferred.
- Quick learning ability, to keep track of technology application, understand their security concerns, like blockchain, AI, DCEP, Cloud, Data, etc.
- Good technical ability to implement IT security and technology risk management programs, and coordinate development, deployment, and enforcement of IT and information risk controls.
- Strong managerial, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management.
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
