About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced project manager to lead and drive offshoring projects in investment banking operations. The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide solutions and maintain up-to-date RAID logs and project status reports.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Governance: Coordinate actions between Operations teams in Asia and all stakeholders (IT, Compliance, Legal, Front-Office), and be in charge of PMO activities (planning, governance, reporting, dashboard and progress reports, etc.).
- User Requirements and Testing: Collect and formalize user business requirements, prepare test cases for the operational teams, and coordinate as well as act as a liaison between users and IT teams during the projects.
- Progress Reporting and Monitoring: Maintain an up-to-date RAID log and provide up-to-date project status reports to various forums in both written and verbal form.
- Change Management: Carry out studies on existing set-ups in order to find areas for improvement, and prepare and implement Change Management plans for Operations teams.
- Educational Background: Master's degree holders, with a strong academic background in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
- Professional Experience: +5 years' experience working on Project Management (associate) and prior experience in investment banking operations.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and driving offshoring projects.
- Knowledge and Skills: Good knowledge of the Operations department in an Investment Bank, as well as good product knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other PC applications.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated and hardworking, with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
