Job Summary
We are seeking a Head of Security Governance & Technology Risk to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security governance, risk management, and compliance procedures within the Technology department. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining risk registers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to support planning, execution, and response to audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing guidance on best practices for governance in change delivery, including thorough business cases, monitoring benefits, risks, and issues.
- Designing, implementing, and continuously improving governance processes with clear oversight and communication in a business-friendly manner.
- Ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in either the commercial or financial services sector is required. Significant background in Information Security, particularly in security operations and governance and risk implementation, is essential. Experience managing a Technology Governance function of comparable scale and effective communication at senior levels are also required.
