Role Overview:

The Finance Operations Specialist will oversee the effective delivery of a wide array of financial services and analytical support to the account/client. This role entails managing daily financial and accounting functions with a specific emphasis on the client's reporting needs at both local and regional levels. The Finance Operations Specialist is tasked with ensuring that the efficient utilization of accounting resources aligns with JLL's revenue and profit goals. Additionally, this position will involve managing and analyzing operational data across the client's property portfolio, collaborating with country teams to execute various benchmarking and analytical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing effective financial control mechanisms.
  • Ensuring high-quality financial reporting to the JLL Account Team and client (including budget variance analysis).
  • Supporting financial management and analysis (budget planning and forecasting).
  • Facilitating the delivery of all financials related to the client contract for both Client and JLL.
  • Coordinating team workflows, consolidated reporting, and communication with the client (such as monthly financial updates).
  • Assisting client-side finance teams with regular reporting and addressing any inquiries or information requests.
  • Analyzing commercial and contractual elements of the client account (e.g., tracking savings initiatives, reconciliations, baseline control).
  • Monitoring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Achieving established KPI, financial, and other targets for the account.
  • Ensuring adherence to all requirements and client contractual obligations.

Financial Analysis and Estimates:

  • Collaborating with the JLL Regional Finance team to communicate clear timelines, ownership, objectives, and guidelines for account financials.
  • Completing budget and forecasting activities accurately, consistently, and promptly.
  • Consolidating, reviewing, and analyzing submitted financials for the account to ensure correct accruals and accurate costs.
  • Supporting monthly reviews and annual budget assessments with the regional Finance team.
  • Assisting the Client Accounting Manager in achieving timely and precise reporting.

Budget and Forecasting:

  • Partnering with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of annual budget reporting, ensuring budget holders provide precise forecasts with necessary details.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the client's accounting structure and associated systems to ensure a smooth and consistent flow of financial data.
  • Developing, maintaining, and delivering the Client's approved financial formats across the region in a timely manner.

Client Reporting/Forecasting/Planning:

  • Ensuring accuracy of accruals with correct coding to client account codes and cost centers.
  • Maintaining forecast accuracy to meet financial KPIs.
  • Providing accurate and timely financial information to all stakeholders.

Invoice Payment & Billing:

  • Managing and coordinating client billing and collections.
  • Collaborating with local Operations teams to resolve purchase order and vendor invoice issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role (working with regional teams and clients).
  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting with a focus on Property Accounting.
  • A motivated, positive, and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to mentor others.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Quick learner with a desire for professional development.
  • Strong collaborative skills to navigate challenges with clients and team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
