Role Overview

HK Express Airways Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Duty MCC Controller in monitoring and controlling the fleet's technical status, maintaining continuous liaison with local and outstation maintenance service providers for ongoing maintenance task arrangements.
  • Perform aircraft defect troubleshooting and provide defect rectification solution plans, providing on-site technical support to MROs while TD/AOG to minimize operational disruption.
  • Aware of any incidents that result in emergency procedures and provide notification to all concerned parties according to company requirements, arranging immediate fleet-wide surveys or inspections when necessary.
  • Oversee deferred defect levels, ensuring ADD/CADD/Repetitive Defect status for time compliance control.
  • Effectively identify emerging fleet reliability issues and work closely with Technical Services to ensure effective timely mitigation and resolution are implemented.
  • Cooperate with LM, MROs, and service providers on any technical issues.
  • Provide on-site support for any technical or maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' work experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • A Degree/Diploma holder in Engineering discipline and/or a qualification that demonstrates suitable experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Willingness to work in variable shift duty and adapt to varying working conditions.
  • Basic computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs.
