About the Role

In this exciting position, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders and experts across the globe and across multiple business teams at SwissRe Life & Health Reinsurance. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the development of improved and more efficient processes, operating models, and tools. Once the project team has set the direction, you will bring the changes to life with your can-do attitude and project management and change skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create compelling cases for business change, including new reinsurance products, optimized organizational setups, and initiatives to improve operational excellence and the business impact of analytics and IT systems.
  • Plan projects to align people around goals, agree on effort, deliverables, and timelines to ensure benefits realization and then obtain senior leadership approval.
  • Drive the delivery of initiatives and transformation projects jointly with functional experts, leveraging your influencing and people engagement skills.
  • Act as a change agent and drive a partnership attitude across Life & Health teams and units like Sales, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Inforce Management, and Operations to help achieve joint profit and business goals.
About the Team

You will be working in a team of project managers spread across the globe who drive transformation across Life & Health Reinsurance. We are a team of self-starters, and our bread-and-butter is improving all aspects of our Life & Health business. We set the path for change and then guide project teams with members from all corners of our business to deliver the intended project results.

  • You bring along some experience and know-how that helps you achieve these goals. It's beneficial if you have gained experience in (re)insurance operations, data analytics, project, and/or process management (agile, lean, PMI, design thinking) before. You're likely to have collected this experience in your current role in a financial services or consulting company based on a university degree in insurance, data & analytics, or a related field.
