About Our Client

Our top-ranking European Private Bank seeks an experienced Regulatory Compliance Expert to fill the role of North Asia Regulatory & Product Compliance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the bank's regulatory strategy in the region.

Key Accountabilities
  • Report directly to the North Asia Head of Compliance and lead a team of subordinates in regulatory advisory services.
  • Engage with HKMA and SFC on regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Design and implement internal policies and procedures related to product offerings and client profiling.
  • Oversee product due diligence and distribution processes.
  • Advise senior management on regulatory matters, risk identification, and control enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Degree holder in Accounting, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory & product compliance, including 3 years in private banking or HKMA/SFC regulator.
  • Desirable: Relevant industry experience in private banking.
  • Excellent understanding of HKMA/SFC regulatory requirements.
  • Results-driven individual with strong problem-solving skills.
