At HONG KONG SPORTS INSTITUTE LIMITED, we are seeking an exceptional Assistant Scientific Conditioning Coach to join our team. As a key member of our Fitness Training Centre, you will play a vital role in implementing safe and effective training programmes for athletes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and running the daily operation of the Fitness Training Centre, working closely with senior staff to ensure the smooth delivery of training programmes. You will also be responsible for supervising injured athletes' training, monitoring the maintenance of the fitness area and equipment, and performing fitness and field-testing on athletes.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in strength and conditioning. You should have a university degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, along with valid strength and conditioning specialist certification and first aid, CPR, and AED qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement safe and effective training programmes for athletes under the guidance of senior staff;
- Supervise and run the daily operation in the Fitness Training Centre;
- Supervise injured athletes' training in cooperation with the Sports Medicine Centre and under the guidance of senior staff;
- Monitor the maintenance of the fitness area and equipment;
- Perform fitness and field-testing on athletes for monitoring training progress under the guidance of senior staff;
- Collaborate with other disciplines of the Scientific Conditioning Center and other Centres as appropriate to the biopsychosocial operational model;
- Provide both local and overseas on-field support to elite sports teams if required;
- Centralize and maintain a database for all training records;
- Keep abreast of the current trends of Strength and Conditioning for peak performance;
