Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of expense provisions and accruals for the designated department.
  • Serve as a Financial Operations Associate Manager, offering insights to effectively manage expenditures by generating Management Information System (MIS) reports and analyses, drafting expense narratives, and aiding in budget development.
  • Oversee the annual expense analysis process, evaluate actual spending, and propose expense forecasts for upcoming years.
  • Support management with ad hoc inquiries, handle expense variance questions, and facilitate the adoption of the IFRS 17 accounting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Self-driven, capable of working autonomously, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
