Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with relevant government regulations and the Bank's guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer profiles, KYC documents, and customer statistic data to provide review recommendations for periodic reviews and trigger event reviews.
  • Update and follow up customer information, verify customer identity, and provide advice on transaction analysis.
  • Monitor customer review progress, including regular reviews and trigger events reviews.
  • Comply with relevant government regulations and the Bank's guidelines and policies.
  • Prepare and deliver AML/CFT/Sanctions related trainings.
  • Perform gap analysis and update policies and procedures for the latest regulatory requirements and audit reports.
  • Collaborate with senior management to effectively incorporate the AML/CFT/Sanctions Compliance Program.
  • Prepare management reports for senior management.
  • Provide advisory services to business units regarding AML/CFT/Sanctions compliance, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree holder or above with a major in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.
  • Relevant qualification in CAMS, AAMLP Core Level will be an advantage.
  • 3 years' relevant experience is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of general banking operations and legal and regulatory context.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager.
