About the Role

Aon is a global leader in risk management and insurance, and we're seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Cyber Risk Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping our clients navigate the complex world of cyber risk and insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical advice to colleagues and clients on managing exposure to cyber risk and cyber insurance.
  • Develop and articulate the value proposition of Aon's Cyber Solutions offering, including proactive, reactive, and advisory services.
  • Support country and regional broking teams in the negotiation and placement of cyber insurance policies.
  • Drive the deployment of Aon's Cyber Solutions offering, particularly scenario development and coverage analysis contained in quantification and simulation services.
  • Negotiate policy wording amendments and endorsements with insurers and drive quality control initiatives across all cyber policies placed in Asia.
  • Present on cyber risk and insurance in individual client meetings and large client events.
  • Partner with Aon resources to deliver a wide range of insurance solutions and services to clients.
  • Contribute to tender responses and ensure timely submission and quality of reports.
  • Implement broking excellence initiatives, including pricing and profitability, client promise, sales and cross-selling, and data quality.
  • Interface with the market to secure optimum outcomes for client risk coverage.
  • Contribute to key thought leadership content for clients and markets, demonstrating understanding and insight into the industry, clients, risks, and solutions.
  • Contribute to up-to-date marketing materials on carrier appetite and solutions available to Specialty clients.
  • Ensure knowledge and best practice approaches are captured, documented, and shared among the cyber champion network.
  • Contribute to Specialty Broking and Aon Cyber Solutions initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Experience within the insurance industry or relevant adjacent professions, including law, consulting, and cybersecurity.
  • Prior experience working with cyber insurance policies.
  • Strong technical skills around insurance policy interpretation and drafting and/or cyber risk.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong cultural fit, with the ability to forge strong relationships with country and specialty colleagues, as well as clients and insurers.
  • Sensitivity to and awareness of cultural differences, with the ability to assimilate accordingly.
