They will be expected to develop and coordinate courses, perform administrative duties, and contribute to the Centre's mission.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering EAP and ESP courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Developing and coordinating curriculum and assessment materials.
  • Providing academic support and guidance to students.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the Centre's strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or above, with a doctoral degree preferred. They will also possess a qualification in teaching English as a second/additional language, an excellent command of English, and expertise/interest in areas such as web-based interactive materials, flipped/blended learning, teaching of speaking, and language assessments.

Appointment will be made on a competitive basis, with the rank and remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee.
