  • The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing new and renewal business within delegated authority levels, developing and maintaining relationships with brokers and other distributors, and contributing to the development of propositions.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of insurance-related needs and solutions, as well as excellent negotiation, influencing, and selling skills to build trust and business relationships with customers and producers.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain profitable multi-lines underwriting for Mid-market portfolios, providing training to other associates, and working within delegated authorities.
  2. Apply all Underwriting elements for new business and renewals, handling assignments of the highest complexity, measuring exposure, and analyzing risk.
  3. Contribute to managing accounts, building relationships in support of customer/business acquisition and retention, and implementing agreed technical standards, controls, practices, and procedures.
  4. Timely update and use of Underwriting Scorecards and other MI tools and processes to proactively manage and improve the portfolios mix and performance.
