Position Overview
Our research hub is in search of a seasoned researcher with a robust background in alpha research. In this selective position, you will have access to extensive research resources and the opportunity to uncover high-quality alpha signals that directly influence our investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute original quantitative research to identify alpha signals.
- Oversee all facets of the research workflow, including data analysis, alpha signal identification, backtesting, generation of trading ideas, and analysis of alpha signals and portfolios.
- Assess new datasets for their potential to generate alpha.
- Stay informed about, analyze, and enhance the latest academic research findings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of research experience in Equities.
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.S.) in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or C++.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Proven ability to learn and implement new methodologies for alpha generation.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality results promptly.
- Detail-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
