Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team at JPC TEXSON LTD. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our brand and maintain a positive image in the industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, crisis communications, and internal communications. They will be responsible for managing external communications, cultivating media relations, and maintaining a corporate website.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver various communication materials, including corporate brochures, announcements, fact sheets, media articles, and ESG reports.
  • Handle inquiries professionally, prepare press releases, media pitches, scripts, and speeches for management.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets, organize interviews, and press events to enhance our reputation.
  • Respond promptly to crisis situations, develop messages, manage media relations, and advise internal parties.
  • Maintain a corporate website by regularly updating content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Language, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, crisis communications, and internal communications.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or managerial level experience is preferable.
  • Experience in the F&B / hospitality / retailing industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in media relations, attention to detail, open-mindedness, adaptability, and collaboration.
  • Strong written English and Chinese copywriting skills; proficiency in spoken Cantonese, English, and Putonghua.
