Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned in-house lawyer to join our team in APAC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate and investment banking transactions, including loan agreements, securities documentation, and other related contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice on complex corporate and investment banking transactions.
  2. Liaise with clients, external lawyers, and other transaction parties to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, trading, and risk management.
  4. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification working experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Deep understanding of banking and finance laws and regulations in APAC.
  • Strong technical knowledge of contract negotiation, due diligence, and transaction closing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Results-driven and proactive approach to problem-solving.
