At Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development of our banking applications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and facilitating user requirement gathering, analyzing requirements and recommending best practice solutions. They will also conduct system design, impact analysis and effort estimation, as well as participate in system development and integration support User Acceptance Testings (UAT).

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate external vendors to complete projects and ensure quality of deliverables;
  • Conduct system design, impact analysis and effort estimation;
  • Participate in system development and integration support User Acceptance Testings (UAT);
  • Analyze user requirements and recommend best practice solutions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of experience in banking applications development;
  • Proficiency in Java/C++, SQL and Unix Shell script;
  • Experience in remittance, interbank payment project and cross-project (i.e. SWIFT, RTGS, CIPS, CNAPS) is an advantage;
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, competent and challenging team-working environment;
  • Self-motivated, creative and able to work under pressure;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and Mandarin is a plus.
