Job Description: As an ASST PURCHASING MANAGER, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality and efficient vendor base, maintaining an approved vendor list, and strengthening supplier management and performance in terms of cost, delivery, quality, and service. You will also identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous cost reduction and alternative sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best value for the organization.
- Explore local sourcing options for the Vietnam factory.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to procurement and sourcing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Experience in global and PRC local sourcing.
- Familiarity with RoHS & WEEE standards and requirements.
- Knowledge of the SAP system is essential.
