Crypto.com is a leader in blockchain security, with a team of experts dedicated to protecting our users' assets. As a member of this team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our users' data.

You will design and implement secure cloud computing workloads, manage cloud security posture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks. Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, threat intelligence, and incident response is highly desirable.

This role requires a strong understanding of blockchain technology, specifically public blockchain. You will also be responsible for defining and maintaining the team's continuous DevOps lifecycle and automation, and developing incident response plans and implementing controls to protect against cyber threats.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in blockchain security to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud computing workloads and managing cloud security posture.

  • Design and maintain cloud computing workloads and manage cloud security posture;
  • Develop a deep understanding of blockchain technology, specifically public blockchain;
  • Define and maintain the team's continuous DevOps lifecycle and automation;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks;
  • Develop incident response plans and implement controls to protect against cyber threats;

A strong background in deploying various clouds (Azure, Google, Amazon) and experience with building, deploying, and maintaining monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and container infrastructures (Kubernetes, Docker-compose) are highly desirable. Additionally, experience with developing and deploying infrastructure as code (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Ansible) is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a similar discipline;
  • 5-7 years of working experience in DevOps or system administration or related areas; applicants with less experience will be considered for a junior position;
  • Working or project experience about Web 3/Crypto currency/Blockchain domain is compulsory;
  • Experience in deploying various clouds (Azure, Google, Amazon);
  • Experience with building, deploying, and maintaining monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and container infrastructures (Kubernetes, Docker-compose);
  • Experience with developing and deploying infrastructure as code (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Ansible);
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, specifically public blockchain;
  • Good understanding of traditional security operations areas of expertise: Linux, Networking, Firewall, IDS/IPS;
  • Able to troubleshoot and debug issues, and demonstrate a methodical approach to root cause analysis;
  • Eager for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement;
  • Enthusiastic about the future of blockchain;
  • Curious and comfortable with ambiguity;
