Job Summary

This position involves performing a variety of commercial building maintenance and repairs, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, and masonry responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience as a journeyman in one of the recognized skilled trades and possess a strong working knowledge of additional trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems
  • Assist operations and grounds departments with painting and snow removal as needed
  • Maintain both interior and exterior of District facilities

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED)
  • One year experience as a journeyman in one of the recognized skilled trades
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans, diagrams, architectural blueprints, and specifications
