We are looking for a motivated and experienced Museum Collections Coordinator to join our team at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. As a key member of the Archives and Library (A&L) team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of our collection archives.

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the acquisition, packing, moving, and rehousing of Collection Archives, as well as implementing records management programs, including record audits and compliance activities. You will also be responsible for arranging and describing archival collections, facilitating access to archival resources, and providing reference services to users.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Archives or Records Management, Information Science, Cultural Management, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in archives, libraries, or museums, or related field
  • Knowledge of data standards used in archival description
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
