Job OverviewThe Hong Kong Sports Institute is seeking a highly skilled Trauma and Orthopaedics Physician to join our medical team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert care to athletes and contribute to the development of our Sports Medicine Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert consultation services to athletes and coaches on trauma and orthopaedics-related matters.
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans for athletes with musculoskeletal injuries.
- Collaborating with therapists and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes.
- Participating in research and education initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in trauma and orthopaedics.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong academic background in Trauma and Orthopaedics or a related field.
- Registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
- Experience working in a trauma and orthopaedics setting, preferably with a focus on sports medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and medical staff.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in trauma and orthopaedics.
