Job Title: VP, COO Office HK

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Global Financial Markets (GFM) business. As a key member of the COO Office, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of new products and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive system and platform projects, leveraging digital and automation tools to enhance business efficiency.
  • Represent the COO Office in various committees and meetings, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Drive business process improvements, leveraging data analytics and automation tools to optimize workflows.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in Global Financial Markets, Private Banking, or a related field, with leadership experience in managing teams.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of GFM products, including FX, Derivatives, Money Market, Security Trading, and Structure Products.
  • Understanding of GFM business flows, associated risk areas, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and risk control sense.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
