Job Summary
The Senior Banking Technology Solutions Architect will join our Institutional Banking Group Technology team to define, develop, test, and analyze business requirements to achieve strategic goals. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced technical professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and operations units for FPS payment and collection requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead and collaborate with developers to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, use cases, and technical specifications.
- Oversee UAT, LV, and post-implementation monitoring to ensure technical changes are delivered with satisfactory results.
- Assist Production Support with regular tech upgrade activities and change request management.
- Assist with application troubleshooting and debugging.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, with related work experience considered an advantage.
- 7-10 years of experience in software development, with knowledge of JAVA, JavaScript, Python, Angular, SQL, and Spring Boot across the banking/financial sectors.
- Experience in functional and technical specifications documentation, systems design, conducting system tests, and supporting user acceptance tests is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of FPS, merchant collection business, other cash products, and corporate banking services is an added advantage.
- Hands-on working knowledge of DevOps tools for source control and code branching strategy (Git, Bitbucket), Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Maven), and Continuous Delivery (CA Release Automation).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to solve unstructured problems.
- Good presentation and strong communication skills; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus.
