Accountant Role Overview

As a key member of the Regional General Accounting Team in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for applying strong accounting and taxation knowledge to complete month-end close processes, assist in statutory audits, and generate accurate management reports. Your analytical skills will be essential in performing reviews on financial results on a monthly basis.

About This Opportunity

  • You will prepare month-end close journals for Asia entities, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounting schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Perform analytical reviews on financial results, including preparing quarterly financial reporting for the U.S head office.
  • Liaise with auditors for completing statutory audits of Asia entities, as well as tax agents for annual and regular tax filings.
  • Assist in handling secretarial compliance of Asia entities and run financial reports on a monthly basis.

What We Are Looking For

  • A degree holder majoring in Accountancy with 1-3 years of relevant accounting/audit experience.
  • MNC and/or audit experience is highly preferred, along with high proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, pivot table, etc.) and knowledge in Macro.
  • Strong logical thinking with an investigative mindset, good written skills in English, and communication skills in both English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, meeting tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Taxation knowledge in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, and other Asian countries would be advantageous.
