Financial Product Developer

Citi is seeking a skilled Financial Product Developer to join our team in Institutional Trading. As a key member of our Structuring group, you will play a vital role in developing innovative financial products for investors and providing expert advice on complex transactions.
The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of structuring experience from a financial institution and demonstrate exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. You will be able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, and possess the ability to work effectively with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing models and valuation methods for financial products
- Conduct pre-trade and post-trade scenario analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with institutional sales teams to design customized back tests and client portfolio analysis
- Participate in the development of new financial products and payoffs, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and align with business objectives
- Present marketing materials and participate in client meetings to showcase product offerings
- Work closely with control functions, such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance, to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Foster a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and supervision within the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or University degree, Master's degree preferred
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
