The Mass Transit Railway is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our Infrastructure Maintenance Team as a Track Maintenance Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technical staff in carrying out inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency recoveries and renewal or modification of track work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technical staff to carry out various tasks related to track maintenance, including inspection, repair and replacement of tracks.
- Ensure the proper use of tools and equipment for maintenance activities and report progress, incidents and safety aspects to supervisors.
- Perform the role of Engineer's Person-In-Charge or Competent Person and other associated duties for compliance with on-track safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
- Be registered under the Construction Worker Registration Ordinance or a qualified track worker of the Construction Industry Training Authority.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license class 18 is preferred.
