About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled RAN Engineer to join HKT's team and contribute to the design and deployment of cutting-edge Radio Access Network (RAN) and WiFi systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement RAN and WiFi systems to meet the evolving needs of HKT's customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for RAN and WiFi systems
  • Perform testing and validation of new RAN and WiFi software and hardware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement in RAN and WiFi systems

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma / Associate Degree / Degree holder in IT or related disciplines with 4 years of experience in IT or network design and with sound knowledge of IT network and radio access network (NR, LTE and UMTS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Good command in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Candidates with less experience/qualification will also be considered as a Network Engineer
