We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Product IT Implementation Lead to drive the successful launch and implementation of new insurance products. This role offers strong growth opportunity and a fantastic team and firm culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Leverage solid experience in insurance product development to guide the creation and implementation of new insurance offerings.
- Manage the applications stack involved in the new product launch, including sales illustration, rate table setup in core systems, policy printing, and client applications.
- Lead and manage IT implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure successful product delivery.
- Identify potential risks and issues during the product development process and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
- Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the final product meets regulatory standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a local insurance firm with a strong background in insurance product development and IT implementation.
- In-depth understanding of the technology stack involved in insurance product launches, including core systems, sales illustration tools, policy administration systems, and client applications.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and drive project success.
